For those who know Nate Dog, you know him as a devoted husband, father, grandfather, firefighter, and friend. Nate is a Captain Paramedic and hazmat Technician and has spent the past 19 years serving with Gilbert Fire and Rescue Department. For 19 years he has dedicated his life to protecting and caring for others in their moments of greatest need. Now, he is the one who needs help… our help.

Nate has been diagnosed with Pityriasis Rubra Pilaris (PRP), a very rare and debilitating skin condition. PRP causes painful inflammation, redness, and dry, flaky skin that can cover the entire body. It is not only physically exhausting, but emotionally and mentally challenging as well. There is currently no cure, and no FDA-approved treatments available. While about 80% of people eventually experience remission, the process can take 3–5 years—years filled with uncertainty and struggle.

Through it all, Nate remains the same strong and selfless man his community has always known. He is a proud husband of 32 years, the loving father of five children, and “Pop Pop” to five grandchildren who absolutely adore him. His family is his world, and they continue to stand by his side every step of the way.

As you can imagine, managing a rare disease with no clear treatment path comes with immense challenges—physically, emotionally, and financially. Nate has given so much of himself to others through his career in the fire service, and now we have an opportunity to rally around him and his family.

Your donations will go directly toward helping Nate and his family with medical expenses, supportive care, and the day-to-day costs that come with navigating this rare condition.

Nate has always shown up for others—whether on the job or in the community. Let’s come together and show up for him. Every contribution, big or small, makes a difference and brings hope and relief to a man who has dedicated his life to serving others.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your support, prayers, and generosity.

100% of the proceeds will go to Nate and his family.
