The Tinley Park 4th of July 5-Keggar is BACK! For anyone unfamiliar, this was a friendly race we created back during COVID in 2020 and now has evolved into a drinking relay race in which runners chug a beer, run a mile, go down a slip and slide, chug another beer, and flip their cup before the next runner in their relay team were to do the same exact routine.
Now in year #7, the race has grown each and every year. Last year was our best year yet. Jim Cornelison even came out to sing our national anthem! This year we wanted to continue to try and help raise funds for our charity from last year "Operation Second Chance" in which all funds donated will go to financial assistance and morale-boosting programs for wounded, injured, and ill veterans. The 4th of July is THE best holiday in which we celebrate THE best country in the world and what better way to do it than to drink beer, hang out with friends/family, AND donate to those who helped protect our freedom in the first place. Any donation is greatly appreciated!
Also, anyone who donates is more than welcome to come and stop by to either watch OR run in the event! Just message me and I can send you the location of the event. Our goal is $2000 but we would love to go over that if possible! Feel free to take a look at our event last year at the link below.
