Supporting One of Our KIPP Vida Families

At KIPP Vida Preparatory Academy, something that is deeply important us is that we are a community. When we say we are a "team and family", we mean it. We are asking for your support for one of our KIPP Vida families in need. Over this past weekend, two of our students, Kylie and Bianca, lost their father unexpectedly. We are raising funds to help the family to put together costs for the funeral and memorial services, medical expenses, and any future expenses.
From the family: Jamal meant the world to us. He was a wonderful man who was caring, had a loving heart, and would do anything for us. He was the main provider for our family and he was a father of 6 children- 3 teenagers, 2 children under the age of 9, and a one year old. He always put us first. He helped us with our homework, was a chaperone for our field trips, came to our school meetings, and believed in the importance of our education.
In this season of giving, the family will appreciate any and all help. Your donations will mean more than can be said in words.
