Supporting Oakley & Damo’s Road to Recovery

Donation protected
On 21st March, Oakley and Damo were involved in a serious road collision on Reeth Road, Richmond. They were both airlifted to hospital, where they spent the first few days in intensive care.

They are now facing a long and challenging road to recovery and are expected to remain at Newcastle Victoria Infirmary for the foreseeable future. Oakley and Damo share a truly special bond, and the families strength, courage, and love for one another continue to inspire everyone around them.

This fundraiser has been set up to help ease the initial pressures on the family during this incredibly difficult and uncertain time. It will help provide support while they focus on what matters most—healing and being together—as well as any adjustments needed when they are able to return home. A portion will also be donated to the Sick Children’s Trust, who have shown such kindness by providing accommodation close to the hospital, allowing the family to stay by each other’s side and to the air ambulance team who provided life-saving care at the scene.

Any support, no matter how big or small, would mean the world. If you are unable to donate, sharing this page would also be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your kindness, compassion, and for keeping the family in your thoughts.
