Many of you are already familiar with the health challenges that our daughter Norah has faced. If not, you can read her story on Caring Bridge . We are grateful for the countless prayers, words of encouragement, medical care and generous support we have received throughout the last 21 years. Thank you!
Most recently Norah's epilepsy resurfaced with a vengeance resulting in hospitalization at the neurological ICU and epilepsy unit at Aurora - St Luke's in Milwaukee. Her dedicated medical team was able to get her out of a scary and lengthy "seizure cycle." It was a sobering reminder of the damage caused by Norah's stroke at age 9 months and the ongoing challenges living with epilepsy will present for Norah and our family.
Many people have reached out to us asking how they can help. We appreciate all the messages and especially the prayers brought to our Heavenly Father on Norah's and our behalf. Please keep them coming!
We also realize that Norah's health challenges have accompanying medical costs that are not covered by insurance. Our family has set up a fund that will help with these costs now and into the future. If you would like to help in a financial way, feel free to donate through this Go Fund Me.
If you would like to help families in similar situations please consider supporting the Ronald McDonald House, American Heart Association or Epilepsy Foundation. All have been a blessing to us and many others.
