To know Nick is to love him. Recently, doctors discovered a mass in his duodenum — part of the upper digestive tract. The mass has grown into the head of his pancreas and nearby lymph nodes. After many appointments and tests, Nick has been officially diagnosed with Stage 3 Neuroendocrine Pancreatic Cancer.

The good news is that it’s treatable. His treatment will begin with an extensive 8+ hour Whipple procedure, followed by a stay in the ICU for about 3 days, and then an additional 4 days in the hospital to recover.

As medical bills continue to arrive, so do the regular daily expenses — mortgage, gas, and other necessities. Any contribution will go a long way in helping ease this burden while Nick focuses on healing.
