Supporting Nic, Jess, and Their Young Family

On Saturday, our dear friend Nic's life changed forever.

Nic, a proud veteran, devoted husband to Jess, loving father of three young children, and owner of a newly opened motorcycle repair shop in Sudbury, was involved in a devastating motorcycle accident and was rushed to St. Michael's Hospital in Toronto, where he remains in the fighting for his life.

This tragedy has left an unimaginable trail of heartbreak. Two of Nic's fellow riders lost their lives in the accident. While Nic continues to battle serious physical injuries, he must also face the overwhelming emotional trauma of surviving an accident that claimed the lives of those he cared for. The road to healing will be long, and the scars from this tragedy will be both visible and invisible.

In what should have been one of the happiest and most exciting chapters of their lives, Nic had recently fulfilled a dream by opening his own motorcycle repair shop. He was working hard to build a future for his family, pouring his heart into a business he was passionate about while providing for the people he loves most.

Since the accident, Jess has remained faithfully by Nic's side at St. Michael's Hospital. She has spent countless hours at his bedside, refusing to leave while he fights for his recovery. Meanwhile, their three young children remain in the care of family members back home, separated from both of their parents during this incredibly difficult time.

As the days pass, the emotional and financial burdens continue to grow. Travel between Sudbury and Toronto, accommodations, meals, parking, childcare, household expenses, lost income, and the uncertainty surrounding Nic's recovery are creating challenges no young family should ever have to face alone.

Those who know Nic know a man of strength, loyalty, and generosity. As a veteran, husband, father, friend, and business owner, he has always been there when others needed him. Today, it is our turn to be there for him.
