Supporting Nathan After an Unexpected Accident
Donation protected
Hi everyone,
I wanted to humbly ask for your support on behalf of a new friend of mine, Nathan Silva, who many of you may remember from our RCIA classes. Nathan and I were both baptized together this Easter Vigil, and since then we’ve continued growing in faith and friendship.
Just a few days ago, Nathan offered to train me in martial arts — something he’s passionate about — and generously picked me up to bring me to the gym. After our session, he kindly offered to drive me home, even though he planned to stay and continue training. On our way home, we were involved in a car accident.
Nathan’s car was badly damaged (totaled). He had just financed it through a credit union (on 4/10/25), and after complications with his insurance policy, it appears that the insurer invalidated and terminated his policy prior to the incident. Because of this, he’s now facing a difficult situation: no car, no coverage, and no financial safety net.
Nathan is a kind, sincere, and humble young man doing his best to walk the right path. He doesn’t have much family support to rely on, and though he’d never ask for help himself, I felt called to do so on his behalf. He’s looking for ways to earn money again as soon as possible, but right now he needs help just to get back on his feet.
If you feel moved to contribute, any amount would go a long way in helping Nathan cover transportation, temporary car rental, and potential accident-related expenses. If you’re not in a position to give, your prayers and encouragement mean just as much.
Thank you for reading, and for being part of the loving community that has already done so much for both of us.
With gratitude and hope,
