Supporting Natalie, Yusuf, and Najwa After the Loss of Miles

Donation protected
On Saturday, March 28, we lost Miles Murphy in a sudden diving accident. As his family, we are devastated and in shock, struggling to come to terms with this unimaginable loss. He leaves behind his wife, Natalie, and their two young children, Yusuf and Najwa, for whom he was the primary provider and unwavering support.

If you knew Miles, you experienced the presence of someone truly rare, understanding, skilled, generous, hardworking, and strong. Many people called Miles their best friend, because he had a way of making each person feel seen, valued, and cared for. Deeply committed to his faith, he always made time, answering every call, showing up for every conversation, and giving his full attention to those he loved. If you were lucky, he made you a cup of coffee, perfectly tailored to your taste.

Miles was most at home on the water, often taking his son Yusuf fishing. They went so often that at just three years old, Yusuf can already catch a fish on his own, hoping to one day be as good as his dad.
He passed doing something he loved, second only to being with his family.

As Natalie, Yusuf, and Najwa navigate this heartbreaking time, we are coming together to support them. Natalie is facing the unimaginable, grieving her husband while also carrying the responsibility of supporting their family.

Any support you are able to give will go directly to Natalie and the children to help with immediate expenses and provide stability in the months ahead. If you are unable to donate, sharing this page and keeping them in your thoughts and prayers means so much.

In accordance with his Muslim faith, Miles will be buried swiftly and with care.

There will be a public prayer service at the Riyadh Ul Jannah Funeral Home on Monday March 30 promptly at 5pm.
