Hi everyone,

My name is Lindsey, and I am creating this GoFundMe for my sister Paige, who is currently fighting invasive stage 3b melanoma. The last few weeks have turned her entire world upside down and as a family we are doing everything we can, but we have reached a point where we need to ask for help.

What Is Happening With Paige

A mole that had been removed earlier this year grew back and after a second removal, Paige was given the heartbreaking news that it was an invasive melanoma and had already spread to her lymph nodes. She is now preparing for a full year of immunotherapy with frequent IV infusions, along with repeat CT scans and blood work to monitor for spread to other vital organs like her lungs and liver.

Her treatments and follow up appointments will all need to be in Edmonton, which means a lot of driving, coordinating care and finding support for her three kids on those days.

This has been terrifying and overwhelming for her. She is a young mom to three young children including a baby. Trying to balance treatments, side effects, exhaustion and parenting has been incredibly hard both physically and financially.

How Our Family Is Supporting Her

Our family is very close and we have been stepping in as much as possible to ease the stress on her. We help with childcare, driving her to appointments, cleaning, meals and giving her the physical and emotional support she needs to get through each day.

But we each have our own homes, families and financial responsibilities to balance. As her treatment continues and intensifies, so does the strain. We want to be there for her in every way possible, but we cannot do it alone.

How Donations Will Help

Every donation will go directly toward supporting Paige and helping her maintain stability during this next year of treatment. Funds will be used for:

• Childcare for her children on treatment days, recovery days and days when she physically cannot keep up

• Lost income from time off work

• Travel costs for appointments and treatments in Edmonton

• Medications, supplies, and treatment related expenses that are not fully covered by Alberta Health Care

• Household support like meals or cleaning when she is too exhausted

• Helping our family cover time off work when we are caring for her and her kids

• General living stability so she can focus on healing instead of financial fear

These funds will give Paige the ability to rest, recover and be present for her children without being crushed by the stress of trying to do everything alone.

What This Means To Us

Paige is one of the strongest moms and strongest women I know. She has handled this diagnosis with so much courage despite feeling terrified, overwhelmed and uncertain about her future. No one can, or should go through something like this alone, especially while raising three little ones.

Anything you can donate, small or big, will make a real difference. It gives her stability, support and the breathing room she needs to fight this cancer. Our entire family is so grateful to anyone who donates, shares or sends love and prayers.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for supporting Paige and her kids during the hardest season of her life.

❤️ With so much love,

Lindsey and Family
