I’m Asia, a photographer and ceramicist. My work centers around Blackness and natural hair, honoring its beauty, history, and deep significance to the Black community. Bringing artwork into exhibition spaces involves many unseen efforts beyond the studio—firing my ceramic work, carefully packing and shipping each piece, and traveling so the work can be shared as intended.
