Hi everyone,

I am reaching out during an incredibly vulnerable time for my family. My mother has recently undergone a kidney transplant at The Nebraska Medical Center, a life-saving procedure that we are deeply grateful for. This transplant represents hope, healing, and the possibility of many more years together, something we do not take lightly.

While we are beyond thankful, this journey has been both emotionally and financially overwhelming. The costs associated with a transplant extend far beyond the surgery itself. The funds raised will help cover medical expenses related to her transplant and ongoing care, travel to and from Nebraska, temporary housing during her treatment and recovery, and basic living expenses while she is unable to work and focuses on healing.

My mom is a strong and selfless woman who has always put others before herself, and asking for help does not come easily to our family. Any contribution, no matter the amount, would mean more than we can express and would help ease some of the burden she is carrying during this critical time.
