My name is Jimmy Blancia Jr., and I am reaching out today to kindly ask for your prayers and support during my family’s time of need.

Last year, my father, Jimmy Blancia Sr., was diagnosed with liver cirrhosis and has been silently fighting this battle for the past six months. In his current condition, he has been struggling to stay strong without relying on the support of our family and modern medicine. As this illness continues to take a toll on his physical health, all we can do is hope and pray for his recovery.

I am here today to ask for your help as my father continues to fight through this challenging time. Any contribution, no matter how big or small, would help us provide him with the proper care and treatment he needs.

• Caregiver Support: We need to provide my father with a personal caregiver to assist him in his day-to-day needs as his condition worsens.

I have always known my dad to be a loving, optimistic, and selfless individual who puts others before himself. His ability to connect with those around him has fostered many meaningful relationships that continue to positively impact his life. Whether it’s something as simple as taking a song request while working as a DJ, networking with people at a social event, or spending time with his family and friends, he has always been the one to bring joy, laughter, and warmth into every space he enters. His happy-go-lucky, quirky, and positive personality is something I have always admired and embraced myself.

I’m sure that anyone who has met him or even shared a brief moment with him would say the same. And with that, I ask you to remember him as he is and help me keep that light alive in his life so that he may continue to share it with us.
