I’m reaching out with a heavy heart and a hopeful spirit to share my father’s story and ask for your help. On August 18th of this year, my father was diagnosed with ALS, a disease that has no cure and has already deeply impacted our family once before.

In just a few short months, we’ve seen his health decline significantly. We’ve had to navigate countless tests and specialist visits, and the reality of his diagnosis has been incredibly hard for all of us to come to terms with. My grandmother, Iraida, his mother, also passed away from ALS at a young age, so this is a battle that feels all too familiar and all too heartbreaking.

My dad has always been a pillar of strength, a loving father of seven children and a devoted grandfather to eleven grandchildren. He’s someone who has always shown resilience and unwavering faith in God, even in the face of something that, from a human standpoint, seems insurmountable.

As of now, he can no longer work, and my mom is also unable to work due to her own health conditions. This GoFundMe is a humble request to help with their everyday living expenses—things as simple as groceries, basic household bills, and the mounting medical costs that come with this diagnosis and its treatments.

Every little bit of support means the world to us. It’s not just about financial help—it’s about letting my father know that he’s surrounded by love and that we’re all standing with him in faith and hope.
