After five years of hard work in graduate school, I am nearing the completion of my terminal nursing degree—Doctor of Nursing Practice in Health Systems and Executive Leadership. To culminate this journey, I have been given the extraordinary opportunity to participate in a humanitarian and global health expedition to Eswatini in June 2026.

During this experience, I will study Eswatini’s health system and infrastructure through a global health lens, analyze how these systems impact the community, learn directly from local healthcare practices, and collaborate on meaningful recommendations to support the wellbeing of the population. This is not only an academic milestone, but a chance to engage in work that aligns deeply with my passion for equitable healthcare and community-centered leadership.

I am profoundly grateful for this opportunity and excited to end my doctoral program with a trip that will be both life‑changing and service‑oriented.

This experience has been a long‑time dream, and I truly believe there is so much good that can come from it.
