Supporting My Dance Career: ACL Reconstruction and Meniscus

Hi, my name is Troy, and as a passionate dancer, my career and livelihood depend on my ability to perform at my best. Unfortunately, a serious knee injury forced me to seek medical attention, and I was placed on the NHS waiting list for ACL reconstruction and meniscus repair. Despite being promised a 2-3 month wait, I've been waiting for 5 months, and I'm still not halfway through the process.

As i’m currently on a full-time musical theatre degree, Ive had to put my training on hold for 6 months since the injury already, and my career is suffering as a result. I've been unable to take on performances, classes, or workshops, which has significantly impacted me.

To get back to dancing as soon as possible, I've decided to go private for my surgery. However, the costs are substantial (9925), and I'm reaching out to my community for support. Your contribution will help me cover the expenses of my surgery.
