**Update!! The Malpractice in this Country is insane and sad!!!**
My dad has to undergo more major surgeries. Not everybody knows what we’ve been through the past 5 months with his surgeon, but in short we switched team of doctors and his previous doctors should NOT have their license. His cancer is NOT gone, the margins his doctor told us were clear after surgery in October were NOT clear and my dad’s cancer has been in his body unknowingly with no treatment this whole time. The leak in his esophagus from the original surgery is still not fixed, which has led him to encounter a countless amount of complications. All due to malpractice of a physician who put bandaids on each issue he caused, instead of fixing the problems. We don’t know how long he will be in the hospital this time around, but it will be a bit.
As majority of you know, my dad was diagnosed with Esophageal Cancer earlier this year. He underwent 8 weeks of intense chemotherapy and had a very invasive surgery October 10th. This surgery led from one complication to another. My dad had an ICU stay, he was on a ventilator, he has had 14+ chest tubes, dozens of procedures & scans, a feeding tube and was in the hospital for over 2 months before going home for a short time. He has a very long journey ahead of him. It will be a long time before he is even close to where he was prior to surgery and I want him to focus on healing, getting healthy, and regaining his strength instead of stressing about money and bills because that will only hinder his healing process. If you could help take some of this pressure off of him, it is more than appreciated. If you’re unable to help financially, please share!!! My dad is one of the most giving people I know and I would love nothing more than to help him during this time! ❤️
