Supporting my Chance to Attend YYGS Program

Hello, my name is Abdelrahman, an Egyptian high school student. I have so many interests, including but not limited to, History, languages, cultures, and MATH. I know math is the odd word here but yeah hahaha.

I got into YYGS which is a highly selective academic enrichment program and I’ll be doing LPC (Literature, Philosophy, Culture), which will be held at Yale University, New Haven Connecticut.

It was such a long process to get into that once-in-a-lifetime program, and surprisingly I did it!!!!

I received full aid to attend YYGS which covers all the on-campus components. But unfortunately, it doesn’t cover my travel expenses like my flights or travel visa, etc…..

Which is a burden for me since the Egyptian pound has been devaluating; as a result, the dollar exchange rate arises to a high extent making it harder and harder everyday for me to afford it.

I believe attending that program would be an ineffable and unforgettable experience.
