Just after my 45th birthday this year, I was diagnosed with colorectal cancer. Completely heart-wrenching and unexpected. With the location of the main mass, I have been unable to return to work and have been nonstop in doctor appointments and surgeries. I am starting with chemotherapy and radiation treatment this coming week. I have a strong team of doctors, and I am very hopeful that this will go well, but even in the best-case scenario, I will be out of work for a couple of months. I'm asking my friends and family for any help with bills and medical expenses. Please say an extra prayer for me as well, as I believe the power of prayer is strong.
