Alex believed deeply in the power of music.

Music wasn’t just something he listened to or played—it was a way he connected with the world, expressed joy, worked through pain, and found meaning. Whether he was learning, teaching, or simply encouraging others to keep going, Alex understood how transformative music education can be, especially for young people who may not otherwise have access to it.

In honor of Alex’s life and the values he carried with him, we are raising funds for the Music Study Assistance Grant managed by the Music Teachers’ Association of California (MTAC). This grant helps students continue their music education by providing financial assistance for lessons and study—support that can make the difference between a student giving up and a student discovering their lifelong voice. Each donation helps ensure that music remains a source of inspiration, opportunity, and connection for the next generation.

In Alex's memory, we are leaving this fundraiser open continuously - funds are automatically transferred to the Music Study Assistance Grant's fund on a monthly basis.
