On Thursday, July 23, Moo’s father, Hsa Kpaw, unexpectedly passed away after suffering a heart attack.

Just five short days later, on Tuesday, July 28, tragedy struck again when Moo’s younger brother, Pler Say, was involved in a tragic accident on Lake Isle. Pler Say leaves behind his loving partner and young daughter.

To lose two immediate family members in the span of just five days is a heartbreak no one should ever have to endure. The grief and pain that Moo and his family are experiencing is simply unimaginable.

Moo is a long-haul truck driver who spends much of his time on the road, travelling across Canada to provide for his family. Anyone who has had the privilege of working alongside and knowing Moo knows him as one of the kindest, most humble, and hardworking people you could ever meet. He is the first to offer a helping hand, always has a smile on his face, and never hesitates to support those around him. Now, it’s our turn to support him.

During this incredibly difficult time, we hope to ease some of the financial burden so Moo can take the time he needs to grieve, be with his loved ones, and focus on supporting his family without the added stress of lost income.

The funds raised will help cover funeral expenses, allow Moo the time he needs away from work, and provide support for his family as they begin to navigate life after these unimaginable losses.
