Ayúdanos a Cuidar de Nuestra Querida Mamá en Su Última Etapa de vida

Nuestros corazones están llenos de tristeza al compartir que nuestra hermosa, fuerte y amorosa madre, Mari, se encuentra en las etapas finales de su batalla contra el cáncer de mama metastásico triple negativo. Fue diagnosticada en abril del año pasado y, en tan poco tiempo, esta enfermedad agresiva ha cambiado por completo nuestras vidas. Desde el día de su diagnóstico, no ha vivido un solo día sin dolor, y aun así, ha mostrado una fortaleza, fe y amor increíbles. Ahora, mientras recibe cuidados paliativos, nuestro mayor deseo es que esté lo más cómoda posible y rodeada de amor.

Este camino ha sido muy difícil, pero a través de todo, hemos visto el amor y la misericordia de Jehová de muchas maneras: en la bondad de los amigos y hermanos, el apoyo de la familia y la fortaleza que Él sigue dándonos cada día. Le estamos profundamente agradecidos por tocar los corazones de quienes se sienten movidos a ayudar en este momento tan difícil. Cualquier contribución nos permitirá aliviar la carga financiera de los gastos de fin de vida, para que podamos enfocarnos en atesorar el poco tiempo que nos queda con ella.

Desde el fondo de nuestro corazón, gracias por su generosidad, sus oraciones y su amor. Ya sea a través de una donación, compartiendo este mensaje o simplemente manteniendo a nuestra familia en sus oraciones, su apoyo es un recordatorio de la bondad de Jehová y del amor que Él pone en los corazones de los demás. Un poquito de quién es mi mamá…

Mi mamá era una luz brillante en la vida de todos los que la conocieron. Siempre la llamé mi mariposita social porque le encantaba estar rodeada de gente. Era extrovertida, increíblemente sabia y nunca dudaba en compartir su fe y sus experiencias de vida con los demás. Enseñar la Biblia no era solo algo que hacía, sino que era parte de su esencia. Con sus palabras, inspiraba y animaba a las personas sin siquiera intentarlo. Tenía un corazón de oro y siempre veía lo mejor en los demás, incluso cuando no lo merecían. Pero además de todo eso, era divertidísima. Tenía un sentido del humor increíble y podía hacer reír a cualquiera sin esfuerzo. Siempre encontraba la manera de sacarle el lado gracioso a cualquier situación, y su sonrisa era contagiosa. Como madre, esposa, abuela, hermana, hija y amiga, se entregaba sin reservas, escuchaba con el alma y daba consejos que podían sanar hasta los corazones más pesados. Nunca juzgaba, nunca rechazaba a nadie y nunca conoció a un extraño, solo a nuevos amigos. Tenía un don especial para unir a las personas, reuniendo a su familia y amigos con su calidez, amor y fe inquebrantable. Aunque sus fuerzas van disminuyendo, nunca a dejado de hablar de Jehová. Se aferra a su fe con una convicción inquebrantable y tiene la esperanza de que un día todos puedan conocer y compartir sus creencias. Se que será extrañada por muchos y el amor que le han demostrado es inigualable.

Help Us Care for Our Beloved Mom in Her Final Journey

Our hearts are heavy as we share that our beautiful, strong, and loving mother, Mari, is in the final stages of her battle with triple-negative metastatic breast cancer. She was just diagnosed in April of last year, and in such a short time, this aggressive disease has completely changed our lives. Since the day of her diagnosis, she has not lived a single day without pain, yet through it all, she has shown incredible strength, faith, and love. Now, as she receives hospice care, our focus is on keeping her as comfortable and surrounded by love as possible.

This journey has been painful, but through it all, we have seen Jehovah’s love and mercy in so many ways—through the kindness of friends, brothers, the support of family, and the strength He continues to give us each day. We are deeply grateful to Him for touching the hearts of those who are moved to help during this time. Any contributions will go toward easing the financial strain of end-of-life expenses so we can focus on cherishing the time we have left with her.

A little bit about who my mom is…

My mom was a bright light in the lives of everyone who knew her. I always called her my little social butterfly because she loved being surrounded by people. She was outgoing, incredibly wise, and never hesitated to share her faith and life experiences with others. Teaching the Bible wasn’t just something she did—it was a part of who she was. With her words, she inspired and uplifted people without even trying. She had a heart of gold and always saw the best in others, even when they didn’t deserve it.

But beyond all that, she was absolutely hilarious. She had an amazing sense of humor and could make anyone laugh effortlessly. She always found a way to see the funny side of things, and her smile was contagious. As a mother, wife, grandmother, sister, daughter, and friend, she gave selflessly, listened with her whole heart, and shared wisdom that could heal even the heaviest hearts. She never judged, never turned anyone away, and never met a stranger—only new friends. She had a special gift for bringing people together, surrounding her family and friends with warmth, love, and unwavering faith.

Even as her strength fades, she has never stopped talking about Jehovah. She holds onto her faith with unshakable conviction and hopes that one day, everyone can come to know and share in what she believes. I know she will be deeply missed, and the love she has been shown is truly unmatched.
