On February 1st, Mike and Tiffany McLean experienced a devastating house fire that changed their lives forever. In the fire, they lost most of their belongings and, tragically, Jody Kewais — a beloved mother and partner. The grief and loss are profound, and the road ahead is long.
In the midst of this tragedy, the outpouring of love from the community has been incredible. Friends, neighbours, and local supporters have stepped forward to donate clothing and toys for Tiffany, help replace essential items, and assist with veterinary bills. This generosity has meant the world to the family and has helped them through these first, overwhelming days.
At this time, Tiffany is staying with family as they begin the process of rebuilding their lives. There are still many ongoing needs, including transportation to school, school supplies, school lunches, clothing, and basic daily necessities, as well as the long-term costs of rebuilding after such a significant loss.
We are continuing to ask for financial support to help ease the burden ahead. Any contribution—no matter the amount—will help provide stability, security, and support as Mike and Tiffany focus on healing, grieving, and rebuilding their lives.
If you are unable to donate, please consider sharing this fundraiser and keeping the family in your thoughts and prayers. Every act of kindness, whether financial or practical, makes a meaningful difference.
Thank you for being part of the community surrounding the McLean family with compassion, love, and support during this incredibly difficult time.
