Supporting Michelle's end of life care

Michelle Harrison, the incredible co-founder of The Rainbow Society, now known as The Dream Factory, has dedicated her life to fulfilling the dreams of children with life-threatening illnesses in Manitoba, Canada. Sadly, Michelle now faces her own critical journey with terminal lung cancer. As her family and friends, we know that she would not ask for help but we'd love for you to support this most incredible hero.

Why we think Michelle is such a hero

As soon as Michelle became ill she began a new campaign to raise money for the charity that has meant so much to her. Selfless Caregivers, Shaena and Mary

The love between a mother and daughter knows no bounds and is evidenced through the dedication shown by unpaid caregivers, Shaena (Michelle's daughter) and her Grandma (Michelle's Mum). These women are the most loving and incredibly selfless individuals who have been looking after Michelle but now need support.

Make Michelle Comfortable Fundraising Campaign

As a collective of friends and family, our goal is to help Michelle live her remaining days with dignity and maintain the highest possible quality of life. Michelle has selflessly dedicated herself to fundraising and supporting others in their time of need, and now we want to ensure she receives the utmost comfort as she eventually transitions from at-home care to hospice care.

Our aim is to help manage Michelle's symptoms effectively, alleviate her pain, and provide support not only to Michelle but also to her selfless caregivers. By raising $15,000, we hope to lessen the burden of end-of-life debt. Funds raised will be used to cover administrative health care costs, medicine, transport and food. Any remaining unused funds will be donated to The Dream Factory to ensure that Michelle's legacy lives on.
