My name is Tony Becker. This GoFundMe is being set up for Benjamin Rober.

Ben was one of my neighbors up at our cabin and he tragically passed away after seven years of fighting brain cancer on January 26, 2025 at the young age of 47.

He was a great friend that would literally do anything for anybody regardless if he knew you or not! You would never catch him without his coffee in hand and a smile on his face!!!

Ben had a great support system from Michelle(wife), Michael(son) and Garrett(son). He fought brain cancer for a lot more years than we would’ve expected and were blessed to have as much time as we did!!

Through the years we have all become so close as what we call “mountain friends” but in reality, we are all family!

Now I know, Michelle may not want us doing this for her, but we are just trying to do anything we can do to help her out as we know. It has been tough for years doing what she has done for Ben! Most people would’ve given up or just been too tired but Michelle is for sure a trooper!

Not asking for lots of money, but anything we can do to help their family out would be great!

We are having a celebration of life March 22nd and spreading some ashes in his favorite places in the mountains Memorial Day weekend at our annual pig roast!

Were hoping to raise as much money as possible for them to surprise them at the pig roast!
