What an amazing community! Over Thanksgiving break, Hausner security guard Michael Allen's father died of cancer, and he wants to help his mother pay for the funeral but is contending with hospital bills from a recent surgery.
Within 7 hours, we raised more than enough money to cover Michael's hospital bills and allow him to travel to Jamaica to be with his family. We nearly tripled our initial goal of $3000. In addition to the amount shown here, the first grade and 3rd grade classes also raised money separately.
