On December 4, Robbie , Mia’s partner and father of their 8-month-old daughter, Rowan, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly. Robbie was a wonderful dad—always engaged, loving, and present. He absolutely adored his daughter. Robbie and Mia shared the joy of raising Rowan and looked forward to all the milestones they would experience as a family.

Mia's long term employer is unable to support her through this tragic life event and has eliminated her position. Losing her livelihood so soon after such a profound personal loss compounds an already devastating situation.

She is now grieving the loss of her partner, caring for an infant, and facing life as a newly single parent without the income or stability she relied on.
