Our friend Mercy Kasheke is facing a challenging season as she recovers from a recent injury that required multiple surgeries and some unexpected time away from work. While she’s on the road to a full recovery, the healing process means stepping back from her private practice—the main source of her income—until she’s cleared to return. She is expected to be off work for a period of a few months in this process. As a dedicated social worker, her work is rooted in supporting others, which makes this pause especially difficult.

This fundraiser will help bridge the gap during her time off, allowing her to maintain her private practice for her return and manage the recovery-related expenses not covered by the healthcare system.

Anyone who knows Mercy knows how deeply she invests in her friends, her clients, and her broader community, including her faith community. She’s someone who shows up for others with compassion and generosity, and this is an opportunity for us to show up for her in the same spirit.
