I am reaching out with an urgent plea for help. My sweet sister-in-law, Meagan Whipkey, has been diagnosed with advanced cervical cancer. This past week has been a nightmare full of stress and hardship, as Meagan has been rushed to the hospital multiple times with extreme blood loss due to several large masses. The current testing determined that the cancer has overtaken her pelvic floor and has moved into the lymphatic system and her bladder. Because of this, surgery to remove the cancer is not an option, and chemo/radiation treatments will need to start right away. My brother (her husband) Wes, and her 3 beautiful children are devastated by this difficult news, but are remaining hopeful.
