Supporting Matthew and Reed McHale

Hi, my name is Laura. I created this fundraiser for the many people who have reached out looking for a way to help Matthew McHale, an extraordinary young dad and former Marine, and Reed, his precious two-month-old son. Matthew suddenly and tragically lost Samantha "Sam," the love of his life, one week ago. Sam, who had just turned 24 in October, was an adoring and amazing mom to Reed in their short time together. She had a beautiful smile that lit up every room. The three of them were incredibly happy and had just started the first chapter of what would have been an amazing story together. While we may not be able to ease the pain of Sam's loss, we can express our love and support through kind words, kind acts and donations for Reed's future.

All money raised through this fundraiser will solely be used for Reed's immediate care and future needs. I am only the creator of this fundraiser and will not have access to the funds as they will be directly transferred to the family.
