It is with a heavy and broken heart that I announce the passing of my sweet mother who sadly passed away on Monday, July 20, 2026.

She was a daughter, mother, aunt, and friend. She served families in Manhasset, was a nanny, and ushered for many funerals at her church where she insisted the women had to wear pantyhose for ceremonies. She had a smile that lit up her entire being and will be sorely missed.

Mary was loved and considered family by many, and many have asked how to support at this difficult time. So with gratitude we reach out to community for financial support, which will allow our family to focus on grieving and remembering her life.

Funds raised will go toward the funeral, the casket, headstone, and any additional final expenses. It will also go toward transporting her and her family home to Rockingham, North Carolina for her burial.

Any contribution, no matter how small, will make a meaningful difference and ensure that Mary is laid to rest with the respect and care she deserves.
