“Marika never misses an opportunity to help.” 
This is a phrase often heard in my household, and within her family and friends group. Marika is the kind of person who goes out of her way to help others in any way she can. Both Adrian and Marika are incredibly hardworking, thoughtful, and pure-hearted individuals who would never ask for anything. Anyone who knows this family understands exactly what I mean.

Sadly, Marika has been diagnosed with an aggressive form of triple-negative breast cancer. She has already begun chemotherapy and is unable to work. Adrian has already maximized his allotted time off for the year, making it even harder for them to manage without the added financial stress. There will also be surgery and additional treatments in her future.

We want Marika to focus on her recovery—on healing—without the added burden of worrying about missed work and unpaid bills. Franklin needs his mom to have the best possible chance at beating this cancer.
