The Walkers had barely chosen a name for their baby boy: Maceo (gift of God) Lee Walker, when he made his entrance into this world 4 months early. Against many odds, he was able to kick his long legs to his mommy’s beautiful singing voice and had the nerve to look just as handsome as daddy. Sadly, after putting up a brave fight in the NICU, Maceo died in his parents’ arms on April 21.

So many have stepped up already to support Marcus and Vanessa through this journey. Our friends are self-employed musicians and deserve the time to grieve their baby boy without the stress of

what comes next with their finances. They also will face medical bills from this unexpected tragedy.
