My name is VJ Rasmussen and our family is trying to raise money for my baby brother, Malietoa A. Rasmussen, whose life was tragically ended long before we all could fully and meaningfully enjoy it.

Beyond the normal expenses expected, we are trying to fly his wife and family in from Western Samoa and New Zealand as soon as possible, while also trying to financially aid and accommodate them and others while they are here. Our Aiga or family (as with most Samoan families), while large, is spread out. Everyone is contributing what they can, even during these difficult times when groceries and gas are still expensive.
