Hello Everyone!

My Mom has been battling cancer and could really use your support. Wow, where to start. My mom was schedule to have a hysterectomy in early December, but due to Covid it kept getting postponed. In late December 2020 she had her surgery and we were informed she also had cancer. At the time they could not tell us what type as they thought it was either Ovarian or Stomach cancer. After numerous tests, labs, & weeks of waiting they diagnosed her with Stage 4 Gastrointestinal Cancer. They continued to do tests & also found a Gastric Ulcer. Due to her surgery, they would not give her chemo until she fully recovered. At this time, she has completed 2 chemo treatments. 1 of the hardest decisions she had to make was to close her home daycare to be able to focus on her health. My 1 yr old daughter & I also moved in with my family to be able to spend time with her & help with anything that is needed. My amazing Dad has been taking care of her while also continuing to work as he is now their only source of income. This is not her first time battling cancer, as she was diagnosed with Stage 4 Breast Cancer in 2015. My Mom is a fighter and I know she will continue to fight daily. I am doing this page to be able to help my parents with their medical bills and travel expenses. I appreciate you taking the time to read her story.
