I am reaching out as one of Luc's childhood friends, feeling both heartbroken and moved to help him during this difficult time. For over 30 years Luc has been a constant friend - always willing to give anything for those he loves. Now it's our time to do the same for him.

On August 3rd Luc was diagnosed with stage 4 Lung Cancer. This aggressive cancer has spread to his spine, pelvis and lymph nodes, leaving him wheelchair-bound and unable to work. As you can imagine, this diagnosis has created significant emotion and financial strain on Luc and his family.

There is a three month waiting period for Luc's long term disability (LTD) benefits to begin, and during this time they are facing considerable financial challenges. I am reaching out to Luc's community - his friends, family, coworkers and anyone whose life he has touched - to ask for your support.
