On November 7th 2020 Lori was diagnosed with stage 3B Lung Cancer, for a Non Smoker the chance of this diagnosis is like being struck by lightning on a Sunny Day. Lori's tumor is very aggressive, however Lori is even more aggressive with her will to fight and her love for life and the people in it. She has begun doctor recommended treatment but the Mahamuni's need our help today to cover the increased medical expenses, loss of income and more.
Born in Burnaby, Bc in 1969, moved to Calgary, Alberta as a Toddler. Lori has a love for people and children she ran a Daycare in NE Calgary for 21 years. In 1995 Lori's first Daughter Keira was born. Lori went on to meet her husband Alex in 2003 both working at the Danish Canadian Club. Suraya and Tianna, their daughters, were then born in 2007/08. More recently the family moved to Ontario for a new Adventure and to focus on themselves. Alex is a Chef and Lori has spent many years serving his food to the customers she loves. Lori is the Heart of the Restaurant and the Rock of the Family.
