Update:

I am updating this story because when I tried to withdraw the funds it was put on hold because the "story" needed more information. 

"1. Your plan for ensuring your fundraiser's donations to their intended recipients"

----I will withdrawal the money to my bank account and write Chris a check for the amount deposited.  He is aware the money is coming and everyone who donated will be informed Chris was given the full amount.

"2. A detailed explanation of how the funds will be spent"

----During Chris' unpaid leave from his job he will use this money to supplement his income and pay bills while he is not getting paychecks from work.

One of my best friends, a fellow fireman, and someone close to a lot of you is going through a tough time. I wanted to do something to help him and wanted to give others the opportunity to do the same if you so choose.

I can't have any details posted publicly because I don't want to further jeopardize his work situation by drawing more attention to it. However 100% of the money raised will be used to support a friend during an unpaid absence at his work.
