Supporting Liz Cox on her road to recovery
Donation protected
Hello World,
My name is Jess Fudge, and I am the owner and operator of Selah Wild Adventures. My dear friend, fellow coach and board member has had a terrible mountain biking accident and we are seeking to find her access to resources that will aid in her recovery.
As many of you may be aware, Liz Cox suffered a serious accident while racing her mountain bike on July 2nd, 2022. She fractured her sternum in two places, two ribs, and her T2-T5 vertebrae in multiple places. She underwent a complicated surgery for her vertebrae, and as such will have a long recovery with a lot of unknowns ahead.
Liz is passionate about mountain biking and building community and is working hard to get more women and girls on bikes through her work with SIMBS and coaching. She has recently completed her PMBI 2 to help bring more advanced female mentorship to the South Island. She truly loves to coach and is already looking forward to when she can get back to it. In addition to this, she works for Community Living Victoria where she works with teens with intellectual disabilities to help foster community for them. As a result of her accident Liz will be unable to work for the foreseeable future and will be navigating many medical expenses and loss of wages during her rehab.
Please feel free to send words of support, donate, share with your friends and communities.
Thank you for reading this, and thank you for your support during this time.
Big Love
