Supporting Lisa Damico

Hi all! I created this Go Fund me account on behalf of a friend and coworker, Ms. Lisa Damico. Back in August, Lisa started suffering from some severe stomach pain. She fought through the pain until it became too unbearable and she ultimately had to drive herself to the ER. After several scans and even more tests the doctors discovered the pain was the result of a combination of a chronic lifelong condition and inflammation in her stomach lining. They began treatment and decided to keep her for observation. After three weeks in the hospital and several treatments, the pain was still there. Not until a second scan was ordered did they find the true source of the pain. Lisa had a major blockage and surgery was her only option.

As this was all unexpected, Lisa has been out of work and in the hospital for a total of four weeks now. With medical bills adding up we’re hoping to raise some money to help offset any hospital costs she has incurred during these trying times.




Lisa Damico has worked at St. Louis Montessori for 2 years. She’s one of the most dedicated and hardworking people I’ve ever met. The amount of love and laughs she’s provided to myself and your children that she cares for are priceless. She is a staple at SLMS and I’m hoping a little bit of your kindness will go a long way and help such a wonderful, strong women.
