Supporting Lisa As She Battles Breast Cancer

Our world was turned upside down recently when Lisa was diagnosed with stage 3B triple-negative breast cancer. At 37, Lisa is the heart of our family – a loving wife, devoted mother to our three kids and a proud new grandmother to our baby grandson, born just days ago. She’s been glowing since learning she’d be a grandmother, eager for every precious moment with him. Now, cancer has brought unexpected challenges that threaten the life she’s built and the future she dreams of sharing with us.

Lisa is about to begin an intense, months-long course of chemotherapy and immunotherapy. Though our insurance covers some of her treatment, the out-of-pocket costs are already mounting with many more months to come. Added her health expenses are travel expenses for her care, along with daily costs that will grow as she steps back from work. We are a one-car family, juggling multiple schedules for work, school, and now countless appointments. Our car urgently needs repairs to ensure Lisa can make it to her treatments, and every new expense stretches our already tight budget.
