Those of us who know Lindsey know her as someone who brings light into a room the moment she walks in. She is fun, outgoing, and endlessly kind—with a sharp sense of humor and a laugh that makes others laugh right along with her. Lindsey has a way of turning ordinary moments into shared joy, and she has built deep friendships simply by being herself and showing up with an open heart.
Recently, Lindsey was diagnosed with invasive breast cancer. As she begins treatment, she will need to travel regularly to Portland nearly five hours from her home. These trips mean long days on the road, time away from work, and mounting expenses for gas, hotels, meals, and everyday bills that don’t pause for illness. While insurance will help cover much of her medical care, many of the costs surrounding treatment fall outside of what insurance provides. Alongside this, Lindsey is navigating deeply personal and time-sensitive decisions about her future. At 34, she is in a stage of life where many people are building stability, making plans, and moving forward with a sense of direction. A cancer diagnosis brings sudden uncertainty into that space—adding emotional weight and difficult choices at a time when she is managing treatment, travel, financial strain, and the everyday responsibilities of life that do not pause.
This fundraiser exists so that Lindsey doesn’t have to carry these burdens alone. The funds raised will help with travel, living expenses, and lost income—everything insurance cannot cover—so she can focus her energy on healing. Lindsey has spent her life lifting others up with laughter, warmth, and care. Now it’s our turn to lift her—through generosity, shared strength, and the reminder that she is deeply loved and not walking this path alone.
