Hi everyone,
We are reaching out because our daughter Lily is currently going through a serious mental health crisis, and our family is doing everything we can to support her through it.
Lily has always been a very sweet, silly, and kind girl. She loved softball, theater, and making people laugh.
Looking back, we began to notice changes around March 2025. Over time, she started pulling away from the things she loved and began isolating herself from friends. We knew something wasn’t right, but we never imagined where things would lead.
The situation escalated in mid-February 2026, when we had to take her to the ER due to concerning symptoms. She began an intensive outpatient program and was even starting to transition back into school in early March. Unfortunately, things worsened quickly, and by mid-March she required another ER visit and was admitted into inpatient care.
Lily is currently receiving treatment at Linden Oaks, where the staff has been incredibly caring and supportive. She is in the middle of an acute mental health crisis involving psychosis, and doctors are still working to better understand her condition and stabilize her.
At this time, treatment has been challenging, and progress is coming slowly. There are still many unknowns, and we are learning that this may be a longer journey than we initially expected.
This has been incredibly difficult for our entire family, my wife Nikki and I, her sisters, and our extended family. We’ve been surrounded by love and support, but we are also navigating a situation that has brought a lot of uncertainty and emotional strain.
Because of the level of care Lily needs, Nikki has had to significantly reduce her work to be there for her. As we continue adjusting and doing everything we can to support Lily, the weight of this situation has become overwhelming.
We are asking for help to cover:
Medical and hospitalization costs
Legal expenses related to protecting and supporting Lily’s care
Ongoing treatment and care
Time away from work
Therapy and support services
Future care needs as we navigate what comes next
It is very humbling for us to ask for financial support. We have always tried to be the ones helping others, and this is not something we ever imagined doing.
