Supporting Leslye’s Journey to Rehabilitation
Leslye Phillips - Join Us In Supporting Her Miraculous Journey of Healing, Hope & Faith
Hi everyone! I am Auna Phillips, Leslye's Sister-In-Law. Thank you for taking the time to look at this campaign.
Our family has created this fundraiser to raise money to go towards Leslye's Medical & Rehabilitation expenses as a result of an auto accident she was in at the end of January. Per acceptance into the Shepherd Center Program
where Leslye now is, our parents were told it is a requirement for her to have $16K set aside for health care she
will need when she gets home. Leslye will have a long road ahead with rehabilitation, more surgeries, and extensive
therapy.
Leslye's Story
Leslye is a beautiful, kind, caring 25 year old mother to a precious little girl named Aryale.
On the evening of January 31st, 2021, our parents received a phone call every parent fears. It was the hospital
calling to notify them Leslye had been in a horrific auto accident on her way home from work in South Carolina.
She had hit a very large oak tree, head on. At the time, they did not tell our parents if Leslye had survived the
accident, just to get to the hospital right away. After our parents arrived at the hospital, they received the news
that Lesyle was in critical condition, had very extensive injuries, but through the power of prayer and miraculous
faith, our girl survived the accident.
Throughout the next few days, our family began to learn the extent of Leslye's injuries which included a serious
brain injury, bleeding and bruising of the brain, protruding broken bones out of her left ankle, a broken right femur, bruised lungs, broken ribs, a fractured left wrist, and dislocated toes. Leslye was sedated and put on a ventilator
while she went through various surgeries and also allowed her brain time to heal. With God's grace and many
prayers, Leslye made it through and is becoming more alert each day.
On Tuesday February 23rd, Leslye was transferred to The Shepherd Center in Atlanta where she will begin her
incredible journey in her rehabilitation and healing process.
Our family is still learning about the extent of her brain injury and what that will mean for Leslye going forward,
but what we do know is our girl is a fighter and through the power of prayer and God’s unwavering love, Leslye will overcome more than we could ever imagine. After all, she has a little girl waiting for her Momma to get better and
come home to her.
We thank you for your support and continued prayers for not only Leslye, but your prayers for her sweet daughter Aryale, and our family as a whole. Even if you are not able to donate, we appreciate the time you are taking to
learn about Leslye and the prayers you are sharing with us during her journey.
With All Our Love,
The Phillips Family
