Our dear friend, Leidy Gonzalez, is living every parent’s worst nightmare. On July 16, Leidy traveled to Colombia after the passing of her beloved father to be with her family and attend his funeral. While there, she received the heartbreaking news that her 18-year-old son, Kenneth Arstizabal, had tragically lost his life in a motorcycle accident in Pennsylvania.

Now, instead of remaining in Colombia to complete her father’s post-burial services, she is boarding a flight back to the United States to lay her son to rest.

In just a few days, Leidy has suffered the unimaginable loss of both her father and her son. As she faces overwhelming emotional and financial burdens, we are asking for your support. Any donation, no matter the amount, will help allow her to focus on grieving and being with her family.

Nuestra querida amiga, Leidy Gonzalez, está viviendo la peor pesadilla que puede enfrentar una madre. El 16 de julio, Leidy viajó a Colombia tras el fallecimiento de su querido padre para acompañar a su familia y despedirlo. Mientras se encontraba allí, recibió la devastadora noticia de que su hijo de 18 años, Kenneth Arstizabal, había fallecido trágicamente en un accidente de motocicleta en Pensilvania.

Ahora, en lugar de poder permanecer en Colombia para terminar los servicios funerarios de su padre, debe regresar de inmediato a los Estados Unidos para despedir a su hijo.
