On Friday 22nd January the world lost a great guy and the heavens got a new star.
Roger Elliott lost his life in a road accident whilst doing his job of delivering carpet.
Roger leaves behind a partner Leanne, children, mum and dad.
He was liked by so many and had a large number of friends from all walks of life meeting for a drink down the local. Roger was one of the friendliest people you could meet, was hard working, a great driver and overall brilliant guy. No one had a bad word to say about him.
There are many people at work who like to call Roger a friend. He would help out where needed and would always have a joke with a wry smile on his face.
Outside of work he went shopping for his dad, enjoyed cycling, dog walking and most of all photography. He was totally a family man and would always be there for Leanne and the children.
Roger liked photography and took some amazing photos which he published under RE Photography. He would come into work and say he’d been up early to catch the dawn to get the picture he wanted. I am proud to say I am an owner to two beautiful pictures which I will treasure for ever.
He was always one to help out with the company charity fundraising event The Wilton Wobblers, by heading off with a group to cycle 24 miles around Salisbury and surrounding villages to raise funds for Cancer Charities.
To help Leanne and her family, by taking some of the pressure of everyday life, I decided to set up this page.
I know it’s hard times for everyone but please donate what you can to show Leanne and her family how people felt about Roger.
We will miss you big Rog.
