Laure-Elaine Anselmi is a Canadian, a mother, a musician, and one of the founders of Barbarella Hair Salon on Main Street. 

On January 4th Laure suffered a massive stroke, fell into a coma, and is now paralyzed. Thanks to all your generous donations, we were able to fly her home from LA to Vancouver on January 26th at a cost of CA$33,000! Words can't describe what this means to all of us. We would like to thank you all from the bottom of our hearts.

UPDATE:
I’ve changed the name of the gofundme campaign from ‘Bringing  Laure Elaine Home’ to ‘Supporting  Laure Elaine’s Recovery’. There is a long road to recovery ahead and there will be many unforeseen costs along the way. Please consider donating again if you have already(all donations are in Canadian dollars).
