Supporting Laura Peterson During Her Recovery

On April 19th, our dear friend and longtime co-worker, Laura Peterson, experienced a serious accident—she fell and broke both of her ankles. As you can imagine, this injury comes with a long road to recovery. Doctors expect her to be out of work for at least eight weeks, if not longer.

Laura has been a dedicated part of The Fresh Market family for over a decade. If you’ve ever had the pleasure of working with her—or simply crossed paths—you know how kind, hardworking, and selfless she is. She’s the type of person who’s always there for others, and now, we want to be there for her.

This fundraiser was created by fellow employees (and friends) of Laura’s—not officially affiliated with The Fresh Market—as a way for coworkers, guests, and anyone who wants to support her during this difficult time to do so.

All funds raised will go directly to Laura to help cover medical expenses and everyday bills while she’s unable to work. Every donation, no matter the size, will help ease the financial burden and give Laura the peace of mind to focus on healing.
