Supporting Lana's Fight

Donation protected
Anyone who doesn't know Lana is missing out; she truly is the wind under alot of peoples wings. She is a hard working, devoted mother and wife. When she's not working she's with her family; supporting her son on the side lines at his sports games and rooting for her daughter through school. Lana is the type of person who even when sick and going through chemo still wants to work and support herself and her family. She truly is an inspiration to many, even before she began her fight to beat cancer.

This is Lana's journey...
In January 2017 Lana had a infected cyst in her right breast; during this time they checked and there was zero signs of cancer. At the end of March they decided to follow up and do a mammogram; this is where they discovered there was something new on the scan since January. From there they did a biopsy where it was confirmed on April 6th that Lana had breast cancer. The doctors did not want to waste anytime and on April 20th 2017 Lana had a lumpectomy and a sentianode removal of two lymph nodes. Multiple tests were run, and when the results came in they showed that Lana was her2 positive, along with the lump that had been removed was extremely agressive. Thankfully there was no signs of cancer in the lymph nodes. However the doctor discussed that when a tumor is that agressive, sometimes it will skip through the lymp nodes and appear somewhere else. Due to this the doctor decided that it's in Lana's best interest to go through four rounds of chemotherapy, along with radiation five times a week for four weeks.

Lana has two children herself and three step children with her loving husband, Aaron. Between the two of them they have a full house to take care of, along with every day responsibilites and obligations.  Lana wants to continue to work the best she can throughout chemotherapy and radiation, and was planning to be on medical EI for the hours she'd lose, but they told her that she is unable to do that; essentially she has to not work at all, or work under a certain amount of hours and take a huge cut. Both Lana and Aaron are quite proud, stubborn, independent and are not ones to ask for help. Any donation would be humbly accepted , and please know that it is going to an extremely  grateful family.

Thank you in advance.
