The Valdovinos family is facing another unimaginable loss. Just six months after the passing of their beloved Sylvia, her son Lalo, only 48 years old, passed away unexpectedly in his sleep from natural causes.
Lalo was the kind of person whose presence made life lighter for everyone around him. He was a happy, friendly, loving uncle, brother, and nephew — someone who showed up for others without hesitation. Whether it was helping a friend move furniture, lending a hand in the community, or offering a smile on a hard day, Lalo gave what he could, whenever he could.
He worked at QuickStop in Galt, CA, where he was known, appreciated, and loved by so many. Customers and coworkers alike remember him for his kindness, his humor, and the way he never let anyone see him hurting, even when life was heavy. He loved his family deeply and worked hard every day to support the people he cared about.
Lalo’s passing was sudden and completely unexpected. The family is now struggling to manage the costs of final arrangements while still grieving the loss of both a mother and a son in such a short time. We are asking our community, friends, and extended family for any support they can offer, whether through donations or by sharing this message.
Every contribution, big or small, will help ease the burden during this incredibly difficult time. The Valdovinos family is grateful for the love, prayers, and support that continue to surround them.
Thank you for helping honor Lalo’s life and for standing with his family as they navigate this heartbreaking moment.
